Hostess/Cashier Vito's Pizza & Pasta - 4.7 Irving, TX Job Details Part-time From $10 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Guest relations In-person customer service Cash register Window cleaning Stocking Full Job Description We are a family-owned restaurant in Irving that has been opened since 1993, We are currently looking for a Hostess to help greet and help customers. Pay starts at $10/hour as well as tip out received from servers. As Host, your responsibilities would be: Warmly greeting guests as they enter the restaurant Answering questions and making recommendations from our menu Informing them of any current specials Keeping track of our guest waitlist Keeping track of incoming reservations and ensuring their reserved table is ready for their reservation time Ensuring all materials for Private Dining Reservations are ready and requested accommodations are met Maintain a clean work space, including wiping down host station and benches, cleaning windows and doors when dirtied, sweeping foyer of any debris from outside, dusting and other general maintenance duties to ensure the waiting area is in pristine condition to ensure a comfortable space for guests to sit at while waiting on the next available table Providing excellent customer service to our guests Answering customer questions or concerns Collects and cleans menus as needed Ensures station is stocked up with cheese, peppers, condiments, plasticware and napkins.
