At Paloma - the newest dining experience at Laredo Country Club - our Hosts and Hostesses are the heartbeat of hospitality. You're the first smile members see and the final farewell they remember. You orchestrate the flow of the dining room, support the service team, and bring the club's mission to life: "promoting exceptional... dining, social and recreational member experiences." This role is perfect for someone who thrives on connection, organization, and polished service. What You'll Do You'll create a warm, seamless, and professional arrival experience for every member and guest. Be the Warm Welcome Greet members and guests warmly and graciously Provide menus and introduce their server Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return Manage the Flow of the Dining Room Seat guests efficiently and according to rotation Record names, party sizes, and wait times Maintain the reservation list and manage incoming calls Communicate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to keep service smooth Support the Guest Experience Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction Respond to questions, concerns, or complaints with professionalism Share information about specials and features Relay messages to the service team as needed What Makes You a Great Fit You'll thrive here if you bring: A warm, polished, and professional demeanor Strong organizational skills A natural ability to prioritize and multitask Confidence in fast‑paced, guest‑facing environments A team‑oriented mindset Bilingual English/Spanish communication Qualifications Legal age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages Valid TABC Certification Valid Texas Food Handler Certification Valid driver's license or ID Physical Requirements You're comfortable with: Standing and walking for long periods Bending, stretching, twisting, and climbing stairs Lifting up to 50 lbs Working in a busy, noisy environment Benefits Competitive rate Performance Bonus - Tiered Scale Paid Vacation with rollover or payout Sick and Personal Time Off Uniforms provided by the Club Furthermore The foregoing statements describe the general purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties that may be assigned or skill that may be required.
