The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong background in customer service, and experience in the hospitality or food service industry. This role is essential in ensuring guests have a positive first impression and enjoy their overall experience at our establishment. Previous experience with restaurant operations, guest relations, and POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or hotel guest services is highly valued. The Host will be responsible for managing guest seating, reservations, and providing exceptional guest services to foster a warm and inviting environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient flow of the restaurant or venue. Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Provide accurate wait times and answer guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain a clean and organized host station, ensuring all materials are stocked and ready for service. Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and servers to coordinate seating and service flow. Handle phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations or providing information as needed. Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance guest satisfaction. Support the overall hospitality experience by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and maintaining a positive attitude throughout shifts. Experience Previous experience as a Host or Host in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Background in food service, serving, or hotel guest services is advantageous. Strong communication skills, including clear verbal communication and phone etiquette. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable. Experience in guest relations, customer service, or hospitality roles that require professionalism and attentiveness. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
