In this role, you'll manage restaurant reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth guest flow. Your organizational skills and hospitality expertise will help create a warm, efficient environment that keeps guests excited to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table turnover Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate wait times and reservation details Coordinate with the dining team to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, specials, or menu questions to enhance guest relations Support food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices during guest interactions Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and POS transactions Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus This role offers an engaging opportunity to be at the heart of the guest experience while honing your hospitality expertise.
