Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Daytime Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will excel in guest relations, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience in food service or hospitality environments. This role involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring a positive dining or visiting experience. The Daytime Host is a vital part of our team, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and smooth operation of our establishment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times efficiently Assist guests with reservations and seating arrangements Maintain a clean and organized host station and waiting area Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers regarding guest needs and seating flow Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, including phone etiquette and guest relations Manage reservations and seating using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive guest experience Support the team during busy periods by assisting with guest inquiries and special requests Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating courteous and attentive service at all times Qualifications Previous host/host experience preferred, especially in food service or restaurant settings Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse guests Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Background in hotel or guest services is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Friendly demeanor with a professional appearance and attitude Reliable, punctual, and able to work daytime shifts Join our team as a Daytime Host to deliver outstanding guest experiences through exceptional hospitality and service!
