Duties Warmly greet guests as they arrive, managing reservations and seating arrangements with professionalism and a friendly smile. Assist servers by bussing tables efficiently, clearing dishes, and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area. Support food runners by delivering dishes swiftly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, and service stations in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards. Assist with setup and breakdown of dining spaces for special events or catering functions as needed. Operate POS systems for order processing when required, handling cash or card transactions accurately. Communicate effectively with team members using clear phone etiquette and guest service skills to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with food handling safety procedures and cleaning protocols. Experience with POS systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent guest relations. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, or culinary skills such as knife handling or meat cutting is advantageous. Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and teamwork mindset. Prior experience as a host/hostess or busser is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
