As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating and flow throughout the establishment. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional customer experience, making guests feel valued and appreciated. Duties Warmly greet guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and services Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless guest flow and service delivery Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest relations techniques Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests Join our team as a Host and become an integral part of creating welcoming atmospheres where every guest feels special!
