Whether greeting guests in person or assisting over the phone, you'll play a vital part in delivering top-notch hospitality every day. Responsibilities Front Door & Guest Experience Greet guests immediately with warmth and energy Manage the waitlist and walk guests to tables Communicate clearly with servers and managers about seating flow Takeout & Third-Party Orders Accurately confirm and package carryout orders Assist kitchen with finishing and quality checking orders Coordinate UberEats / DoorDash pickups Ensure every order leaves complete, correct, and presented well Team Support Help clear and reset tables Run food when needed Support bartenders and servers during peak times Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not necessary Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone Familiarity with restaurant POS systems like Toast is a plus but not required Experience in hospitality, hotel guest services, or serving roles will be advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for success in this role Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Compensation $14/hour base pay Plus tips from carryout orders Plus any additional tip-out from service staff This role has real earning potential during busy shifts. Schedule This positions schedule is weeknights 5-9pm, .and Saturday and Sunday afternoons based on our expected volume.
