Clifton Cafe is located in historic Clifton, VA and is one of 5 restaurants in Clifton. Thousands pass through daily creating a huge opportunity to grow within our restaurant. Our goal is to be the friendliest restaurant in the area while also providing a professional experience to our guests. Our team works hard for each other and with each other and we are looking to grow. If you are new to restaurants or have years of experience, reach out and we will set up a time to talk with you this week. We are looking for FOH (front of house) team members at the moment. • Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Maintain a well-stocked area with an adequate supply of ingredients, glassware, and other supplies
• Be able to wear multiple hats (will have this position do a lot of different positions)
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations ```Skills```

• Help:

  Willingness to assist other staff members as needed, such as bussing tables or restocking supplies

• Hospitality:

  Ability to provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests

• Banquet:

  Familiarity with serving large groups at banquets or events
• Food service: Understanding of food service regulations and best practices for handling food safely
• Cash handling: Proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Cash register: Experience using a cash register or point-of-sale system to process payments
• Food handling: Knowledge of proper techniques for handling and storing food items to prevent contamination
• Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
