Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and menu options. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area at all times. Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to manage reservations and seating logs accurately. Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Familiarity with food service operations, including serving and guest relations. Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest interaction best practices. Hospitality background, including hotel experience or guest services, is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a lively, energetic demeanor.
