Position Summary:

The Host/Hostess serves as the first and last point of contact for members and guests, creating a warm, welcoming, and professional first impression. This position manages reservations, coordinates seating flow, and ensures that all members and guests receive attentive, personalized service consistent with the high standards of a private golf club environment. Responsibilities Greet members and guests promptly and warmly upon arrival. Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently. Escort members and guests to tables and present menus. Communicate seating updates and special requests to servers and management. Maintain an organized and accurate reservation system. Answer phones professionally and assist with dining inquiries. Monitor dining room flow to optimize service and guest experience. Assist with special events, tournaments, and private functions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area. Thank members and guests as they depart and invite them to return. Qualifications Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and polished demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and composed during busy service periods. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak golf season.

Salary:
