GED Full Job Description Job Summary:
Responsible for seating the guests in a timely fashion, ensuring an even distribution of guests for each serve, answering the phone, greeting guests as they arrive or stop by with questions.
Available Shift:
Swing shift- 3:00PM-11:00

Duties/Responsibilities:
Answers phones, the phone should not ring more than three times. Greets all guests and bids guest farewells and thanks them for choosing Crossings Cafe. Shows the guest, at a comfortable pace WITH them, to their table. Gives a quality assurance, for example "Enjoy your dinner." Introduces server when seating guest. Follows company standards of hospitality by making eye contact with every guest, smiling and offering a warm and friendly greeting with the proper verbiage: "Good morning, afternoon, or evening, thank you, ma'am or sir, may I?" Informs the server of special requests, celebrations or time constraints, using approved methods. Follows approved check transfer policy. Performs opening and closing procedures as defined. Provides the kitchen and management with a breakdown of large parties throughout the meal period as necessary. Performs any mailing, posting, mailing list, and projects given them by the manager on duty as time permits. Pays particular attention to all tables which will be seated, making sure that the table is properly set before seating. Ensures that all menus and wine lists are in good shape, wiped and presentable to the guest. Posting daily floor plans. Stocking supplies (i.e.: matches, business cards, toothpicks, etc.) Adheres to proper sanitation procedures. Maintains cleanliness, stocking, sale and appearance of retail items and restaurant entrance. Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays. All other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Demonstrates the ability to establish credibility and rapport with operating leaders. Certifications, Licenses, and/or
Registrations:
Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s). Ability to obtain a food handlers card.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work while standing for hours at a time. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
