Door:

Manage reservation systems (OpenTable/Resy) and walk-in flows to optimize seating, balance server/bartender sections, and minimize wait times. Manage the

Wait:

Maintain an organized waitlist, keeping guests updated on their status with accurate wait-time estimates while maintaining a calm, upbeat demeanor.

Handle Inquiries:

Answer phone calls and guest communications professionally, providing details on lounge policies, table reservations, dress codes, and general inquiries.

Deliver Elevated Service:

Cater to guest requests, high-profile visitors, and special celebrations with discretion, promptness, and grace.

Floor Synergy:

Collaborate closely with the floor manager, bartenders, and cocktail servers to ensure smooth seating pacing, quick table resets, and fluid service flow. Experience & Qualifications Previous hosting experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant, bar, or lounge environment. Hands-on experience with modern reservation and table management platforms (e.g., Resy, OpenTable, SevenRooms). Exceptional communication skills, a high level of social intelligence, and a polished appearance suitable for a boutique cocktail lounge. Natural ability to multitask, problem-solve on your feet, and manage door pressure during peak hours. Basic arithmetic skills for managing guest counts, pacing, and waitlists accurately.
