Host / Restaurant Support Staff (Part-Time)
Compensation:
$19.77 / hour
Position Type:
Part-Time (Approximately 3 shifts per week)
Schedule:
Friday & Saturday availability is requiredAbout the RoleWe are seeking a reliable, outgoing, and detail-oriented Host / Support Staff member to join our front-of-house team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for their dining experience, manage the flow of the dining room, and assist the floor staff in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Greeting & Seating:
Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, manage reservation flow, and seat tables efficiently to maintain a balanced room pace.
Floor & Host Stand Management:
Keep the entry area clean, organized, and welcoming; answer phone inquiries and assist with guest requests.
Team Support:
Assist servers and bartenders with clearing, resetting tables,running food, and maintaining overall dining room readiness.
Communication:
Maintain clear communication with floor staff regarding seating timing, special requests, and table status.
Qualifications & RequirementsAvailability:
Must be consistently available to work Friday and Saturday evenings (non-negotiable).
Experience:
Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant support is preferred, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and the ability to multitask calmly under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move around the floor for the duration of a shift, and comfortably lift up to 25 lbs.
Certifications:
Valid Food Handler s Permit or ability to obtain prior to start date.
