Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess Cashier to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing reservations, seating arrangements, and cashier responsibilities. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure every guest feels valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine hospitality with customer service excellence in a lively environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression that sets the tone for their experience Manage reservation bookings and waitlists accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Seat guests promptly, ensuring efficient flow of the dining area and optimal guest experience Handle cashier duties by processing payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about reservations, wait times, or menu inquiries Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Requirements Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to create a welcoming environment Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods throughout shifts Join us to deliver memorable guest experiences through lively hospitality and exceptional service!
