Job Description
Colchuck's is seeking an outgoing, dependable Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage reservations, and support smooth front‑of‑house operations. The ideal candidate brings a warm, professional presence, strong communication skills, and flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Please apply with a resume to be considered. Key Responsibilities Guest Greeting — Welcome guests promptly and warmly upon arrival. Waitlist Management — Provide accurate wait times and monitor the flow of incoming parties. Reservation Handling — Manage reservations and coordinate seating with the service team. Seating Guests — Guide guests to assigned dining or bar areas and present menus. Guest Farewell — Thank guests upon departure and maintain a polished, hospitable tone. Reception Upkeep — Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entry area. Guest Assistance — Provide additional support for guests needing extra attention (children, elderly, etc.). Phone Management — Answer incoming calls and assist with guest inquiries. Service Support — Assist servers as needed, including bussing and refilling waters.
