Dinner Reception Host Fairfield Inn & Suites, Spokane Valley Spokane Valley, WA Job Details Part-time $18 - $19 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Customer communication Answering guest questions English High school diploma or GED Customer engagement Handling customer service requests Full Job Description The Reception Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests during our complimentary evening reception. This position prepares and serves light appetizers and complimentary beverages while providing exceptional hospitality and engaging with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday | 15 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Prepare and present light appetizers and snacks for the hotel's evening reception. Serve complimentary beverages in accordance with company policies. Welcome guests and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Engage with guests, answer questions, and provide outstanding customer service. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked reception area throughout the event. Monitor food and beverage supplies and replenish items as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service guidelines. Set up before the reception and clean up afterward. Communicate guest needs or concerns to hotel management when appropriate.
Qualifications:
Thrive in a fast-moving environment while working in a team situation with extended hours of standing to be expected For this position, a high school diploma or the equivalent GED is needed, as well as a good understanding of how to speak and read English Prior food services, or hospitality service industry experience is preferred but not required Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills, as well as the ability to deal with customer requests in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner About Company At the Fairfield Inn & Suites Spokane Valley, we don't just offer a place to stay — we create a home away from home with a team that truly loves what they do.
