As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience by providing friendly service and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Duties Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, creating an inviting atmosphere Manage waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and proper seating arrangements Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about wait times and restaurant offerings Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area Handle guest concerns or special requests with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing overall guest relations Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is a plus Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving etiquette, and phone etiquette is beneficial Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Prior experience working with guest relations and providing exceptional guest experiences Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
