Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! All team members are paid positions, including this vital role. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival, providing a positive first impression. Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems Coordinate seating assignments efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction. Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries with excellent phone etiquette. Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests. Assist with guest services by addressing special requests or needs promptly and courteously. Support the restaurant team by managing table status updates and ensuring smooth flow between seating and service staff. Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar food service role, demonstrating strong customer service skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear and friendly interaction. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper guest relations practices in a hospitality setting. Pay:
