Host Lucky Chucky's Bar & Grill 37238 Valley Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066 $7.25 - $12.00 an hour - Part-time $7.25 - $12.00 an hour - Part-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a lively and positive atmosphere from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage guest seating, handle reservations, and ensure smooth flow throughout the dining experience. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a memorable visit, making guests feel valued and excited to return. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to delivering exceptional guest service. Duties Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality as they arrive Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times, specials, and restaurant policies Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and inviting Assist with guest inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette Support team members by providing timely updates on seating status and guest needs Skills Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant environments Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Previous restaurant or hotel guest services experience is highly desirable Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of hospitality standards, including serving, guest relations, and phone etiquette Experience working with POS software and reservation management tools Exceptional hospitality mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences Join our team where your vibrant personality will shine!
