Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host/Cashier to join our team .you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing reservations and seating arrangements. As a cashier, you'll handle transactions with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for every guest. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will help foster guest satisfaction and operational excellence. 16years old at least Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant reservation systems to ensure efficient seating Maintain clear and friendly communication with guests via phone and in person, demonstrating proper phone Process guest payments accurately using POS systems, handle cash and credit transactions with basic math skills Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience Support food safety standards by adhering to sanitation and hygiene protocols during service Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth guest flow, timely seating, and efficient table turnover Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members Experience managing restaurant reservations and using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables and reservations effectively Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and guest focus Hospitality or food service experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
