Role Title Host Manager Restaurant/ Hospitality Manager Job Summary As a Host, you will greet guests warmly, manage reservations and waitlists using our table management software, and provide accurate wait time estimates during peak hours. You will oversee dining room flow by balancing table assignments fairly among servers and keeping host areas clean and menus fully stocked. Strong communication is essential, as you'll handle phone inquiries, manage takeout orders, and relay special requests or dietary needs directly to the team.

Nimbleness:
Provide great solutions for our customers by exploring all possibilities and welcoming change. We will be quick to respond to our customers and use "Red Truck Service" when additional assistance is needed. Work Experience Duties/Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. Thank patrons as they leave and invite them back. Manage bookings, walk-ins, and the waitlist using our table management software. Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests during busy periods. Monitor the dining room floor to track which tables are clean, occupied, or about to finish. Assign tables fairly to ensure an even workload for all waitstaff. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries about menu items or hours, and take messages or takeout orders. Relay guest requests, dietary restrictions, or special occasion notes to the appropriate servers and management. Keep the host stand, entryway, and waiting areas clean and organized. Ensure menus are clean and properly stocked. Pitch in during busy service times by clearing tables, running food, or helping seat guests.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Restaurant Host, Server, or in a client-facing hospitality role preferred. Warm, welcoming demeanor with a high energy level and excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm, composed, and organized under pressure. Familiarity with Toast POS is a strong plus. Excellent verbal communication skills. Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods (entire shifts).
