This position plays a critical role in both guest service and financial accuracy , ensuring a smooth overnight experience for guests and preparing the hotel's systems and reports for the next business day. The ideal candidate is dependable, calm under pressure, comfortable working independently, and committed to delivering excellent hospitality during overnight hours. Essential Job Functions Welcome guests with friendly and professional service during overnight hours Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns in a timely manner Complete the nightly audit process, including balancing room revenue, payments, and daily transactions Review and reconcile guest folios, house accounts, credit card settlements, and cash deposits Run end-of-day reports and distribute reports to hotel leadership and department heads Verify reservations, room status, no-shows, routing, and billing accuracy Prepare the property management system for the next business day Monitor lobby activity and hotel entrances overnight to ensure guest safety and security Handle phone calls, late arrivals, airline crew arrivals, and overnight guest assistance Communicate overnight incidents, maintenance concerns, and guest issues clearly in shift notes for morning follow-up Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area Follow all Hilton brand standards, hotel policies, and safety procedures Qualifications Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred Experience with Hilton systems or hotel PMS preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Basic accounting, cash handling, and reconciliation skills Comfortable working independently overnight with minimal supervision Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable and able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs What We're Looking For Strong sense of accountability Positive attitude and professional appearance Strong problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and service-focused overnight Team player with flexibility to support front office operations as needed
