Job Description
Job description: We're hiring for our front desk and need dependable people for two shifts: Evenings, 3 PM - 10 PM Overnights, 10 PM - 7 AM (this shift also runs night audit) The honest pitch: This is a small hotel, so the person at the front desk runs the show during their shift. You check guests in, answer the phone, take reservations, and handle whatever comes up. The overnight shift is quieter, but you'll close out the day's books in our system (SynXis — we'll train you) and you have to be okay being the only person here. You'll do well in this job if you: Show up — every shift, on time. Reliability is the #1 thing we care about. Stay calm and friendly, even with a tired or frustrated guest at 1 AM Are comfortable on a computer and not afraid of basic numbers Can work independently without someone looking over your shoulder You probably won't like it if you: Can't be consistent with attendance Need a lot of supervision or social interaction during your shift Aren't okay being awake and alert overnight have a negative attitude about everything
