Front Desk Associate - SpringHill Suites (Kingman, AZ) Full-Time | Open Availability Required Overview SpringHill Suites is seeking a reliable, professional, and guest‑focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. This position requires open availability , including holidays and weekends , and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate is a team player who is dependable, honest, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. Position Summary The Front Desk Associate is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check‑in and check‑out procedures, answering and routing phone calls, and handling guest requests in accordance with hotel standards. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times. Responsibilities Provide outstanding guest service and resolve guest concerns to ensure complete satisfaction. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly, regardless of business levels or time of day. Maintain positive guest relations and uphold hotel service standards.
Maintain full knowledge of:
Hotel features, amenities, and hours of operation Room types, rates, packages, and promotions Daily occupancy, arrivals, departures, and group activities Accurately handle assigned cash bank and ensure its security at all times. Answer incoming calls within three rings using proper telephone etiquette. Process all guest check‑ins and verify registration information. Secure valid payment methods and process cash transactions when applicable. Coordinate with Bell Staff for guest luggage assistance when needed. Assist with overbooked situations and walk‑in guests. Record and schedule wake‑up calls. Monitor, send, and distribute guest faxes and messages. Communicate guest requests and important information to appropriate departments. Work with Housekeeping to resolve room status discrepancies. Reconcile bucket checks with in‑house guest ledgers and report discrepancies. Process guest check‑outs, adjustments, paid‑outs, corrections, and miscellaneous charges.
