Varies•Open availability required (weekends & holidays included) Overview Studio 6 is hiring for two Front Desk positions :
Night Audit:
11:00 PM•7:00
AM Split Shift:
Combination of 7:00 AM•3:00 PM and 3:00 PM•11:00 PM (varies by schedule) We are a small, hands‑on team, and we're looking for dependable, friendly individuals who can multitask, communicate clearly, and help keep the property running smoothly. What We're Looking For Open availability (required) Ability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts Dependable, punctual, and honest Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Team player with a positive attitude Able to stay calm and friendly under pressure Strong communication skills with guests, housekeeping, maintenance, and management Position Summary The Front Desk Associate greets and assists guests during check‑in and check‑out, processes phone calls, manages reservations, and handles special requests. This role supports communication between all departments to ensure smooth daily operations and an excellent guest experience. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Communication Greet guests promptly and warmly Handle check‑ins, check‑outs, payments, and special requests Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly Answer phones within 3 rings using proper etiquette Provide information on hotel amenities, local area, and policies Manage wake‑up calls, messages, and guest faxes Maintain positive guest relations at all times Front Desk Operations Verify guest identification and payment methods Enter accurate reservation and billing information Balance assigned cash bank and keep funds secure Process adjustments, refunds, paid‑outs, and miscellaneous charges Handle walk‑ins, overbook situations, and room changes Communicate guest needs to housekeeping and maintenance Maintain lobby cleanliness and an organized front desk area Coordination With Other Departments Work with Housekeeping on room status, discrepancies, and turnovers Communicate room issues or repairs to Maintenance Notify Management of operational issues or safety concerns Assist with daily reports, occupancy updates, and shift handoff notes Property Knowledge Maintain working knowledge of: Studio 6 policies, services, and hours Room rates, promotions, and extended‑stay packages Daily occupancy, arrivals, departures, and stay‑overs Safety policies, emergency procedures, and lost & found Locations of rooms, amenities, laundry, vending, and maintenance areas Qualifications Hotel front desk experience preferred but not required Basic computer skills Ability to stand for long periods Ability to handle fast‑paced or stressful situations calmly Strong communication and customer service skills Must be reliable and punctual every shift Physical Requirements Stand, walk, and move for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Bend, reach, and use hands for computer and phone tasks Why Join Studio 6?
