  • Temporary, Part-time, Full-time Front Desk Agent Duties:
  • Our Front Office team members prepare the front desk for guests
  • You'll be mentored step-by-step through the training process
  • You'll use Marriott's award-winning training tools
  • You'll work as a team with other front office team members, and other hotel departments to complete daily front desk activities and guest services
  • You'll arrive at work promptly for your scheduled shifts
  • You'll assist with key control and logs
  • You will ensure room status information is accurate, maintained and communicated
  • You will resolve any guest issues quickly, efficiently, and courteously
  • You'll ensure guest messages, packages and mail are logged and delivered in a timely and professional manner
  • You will provide attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous service to all guests, managers, and other employees
  • You will communicate effectively from shift to shift using Marriott's systems and tools
  • You will assist with inventory of front office, stationary, supplies and Market products as requested
  • You'll generate and review daily operational work and reports
  • You'll review the Front office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily basis
  • You will perform other duties as requested by management
  • You'll be provided with the correct uniform
  • You'll help us follow through on the hotel's commitment to excellence with excellent guest service
  • You'll maximize occupancy by reviewing status daily and following Marriott system guidance and controls
  • You'll carefully observe daily house count
  • You'll monitor high balance guests and take appropriate action
  • You'll ensure implementation of Front Desk checklists, hotel policies and house rules
  • You'll learn to operate all aspects of Front Office computer system, including software maintenance, report generation and analysis, and simple configuration changes
  • You will be responsible for a cash bank each shift
  • You and your team will perform other duties as directed by management
  • Flexible schedule is a must, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
  • Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple lines
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
