Great Bear Vineyards is a family owned, boutique winery seeking an energetic experienced Tasting Room Manager. GBV is located in Davis Northern California within 2 miles of the downtown and university. GBV grows premium grapes and process award winning wines onsite. We offer wine tastings here at the Vineyard, and our friendly Team create wonderful experiences and great memories for our guests and members. We're looking for a hands-on Tasting Room Coordinator to join our team at Great Bear Vineyards. You'll be pouring wine, leading tastings, welcoming guests, processing sales, setting up and maintaining displays, restocking, keeping the tasting room clean and guest-ready, and helping lead a small team.

The schedule:

Thursday, 4-9

PM:

Often the only person working in the tasting room, independently managing the evening from setup through closing. Friday, 1-9:30

PM:

Work alongside and help lead the tasting room team. Saturday, 9:30 AM-6

PM:

Work alongside and help lead the weekend team. Optional additional hours available for private events and winery functions. We're looking for someone who is: Experienced in hospitality, wine, tasting rooms, restaurants, retail, or customer service Confident leading a small team while being willing to jump in and do the work Warm, reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently Interested in wine and eager to continue learning Comfortable with POS, sales, Wine Club, and guest service Happy to handle setup, stocking, displays, table clearing, light cleaning, and closing — whatever keeps the tasting room running beautifully Wine knowledge and previous supervisory experience are a plus, but a great attitude, strong hospitality skills, and willingness to learn are just as important.
