Lodging Assistant

Are you friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality? We're looking for a Full-Time Lodging Assistant to support our front office operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service and thrives in a dynamic, guest-focused environment. About Us Dillon Beach Resort is a secluded oceanfront escape, set against the dramatic backdrop of Northern California's rugged coastline. Originally a historic seaside inn from the late 1800's, the property has been thoughtfully reimagined to celebrate the natural beauty and easygoing spirit of coastal living. We take pride in offering our guests a warm welcome and a relaxing, well-maintained stay every time. The resort offers 28 coastal cabins, a full-service restaurant, locally sourced general store, and a mile long private beach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
• Perform room inspections prior to guest arrivals to ensure readiness and quality
• Respond to emails, voicemails, and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
• Handle and follow up on guest requests promptly and courteously
• Confidently manage guest complaints or concerns with empathy, professionalism, and appropriate solutions
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records and assist with general front desk duties

Qualifications:

• Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Comfortable handling complaints & turning challenges into positive experiences
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
• Comfortable working weekends and holidays as needed
• Basic computer proficiency; knowledge of property management systems is a plus
• A natural problem-solver with a positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction
