Full Job Description Night Watchman Job Summary The Night Watchman works the graveyard shift and handles some duties of a front desk agent and of a night watchman. Duties Checks guests in and out of rooms. Responds to guest inquiries and requests; examples: how to use the DVD player, wake up calls, room to room phone transfers, and emergency needs. Locks up private areas of Inn after staff goes home. Collects room service dishes and any trash left outside of rooms if needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Able to use computer based guest information, registration, and reservation system accurately. Excellent customer relations skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Dependable and trustworthy. This role is essential for maintaining guest services during nighttime hours. In the rare case than an emergency happens at the Inn or a guest is in need of assistance during the night, it is essential that the Night Watchman be trustworthy, reliable, and maintain excellent customer service for anything our guests may need.
