You set the tone for someone's entire workout — and often, for whether they come back. It's not a background job. Our front desk staff knows members by name, notices when someone's been away for a few weeks, and is the reason people feel like Afterburn is theirs. Energy matters here. This is a fitness club, and the front desk sets the pace. We're looking for someone who brings genuine enthusiasm to every shift — the kind of person who greets the 5 a.m. regulars with the same energy as the after-work rush, stays upbeat when it's busy, and finds something to do when it's slow. If you're the person friends describe as "always on," you'll fit right in. Beyond that, you'd be a great fit if you're reliable, comfortable striking up conversation, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn and grow with us. Responsibilities What you'll do: Greet members and check them in for classes Give tours to prospective members Handle retail and supplement sales and transactions Make and prepare smoothies Answer phones and assist with member questions Cleaning and restocking
