In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable stays and foster guest loyalty. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a lively resort environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently Check guests in and out accurately using hotel management software, while providing detailed information about hotel amenities and local attractions Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly with a solution-oriented approach to ensure satisfaction Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to maintain financial accuracy overnight Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues swiftly Maintain a clean, organized front desk area that reflects the welcoming atmosphere of our resort Experience
MUST HAVE IHG EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is highly preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills in multiple languages is a plus; bilingual abilities are highly valued Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems enhances your efficiency in this role Knowledge of hospitality management principles and guest services best practices ensures a seamless guest experience Experience working night shifts or performing night audit duties demonstrates flexibility and dedication to hospitality excellence Prior resort or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a proactive attitude above all Embark on a rewarding career where your hospitality expertise makes every guest feel valued.
