Guest Service Agent Crystal Cove Beach Cottages Part-Time Available with Potential for
Full-Time About Crystal Cove Conservancy:
Crystal Cove Conservancy is a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and sustaining Crystal Cove State Park on the traditional, unceded lands of the Acjachemen and Tongva Nations. In partnership with California State Parks, the Conservancy uses a social-enterprise model to fund place-based K-12 education, historic cottage preservation, coastal and habitat conservation, and improved access for historically excluded communities. Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Asst. Cottages Manager, Guest Services Associates are often the first and primary staff person guests encounter while staying at Crystal Cove Beach Cottages. GSAs are charged with ensuring guest satisfaction and a positive experience whiling staying with us. Primary duties include processing arrivals and departures including all paperwork, registration cards, charges, and payments, and working collaboratively to coordinate Front Desk activities with shuttle drivers, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel. GSAs are our guests' primary contact and information source for many park visitors.
Available Shifts:
Shifts may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

$18-$20 Reports to: Asst.

Crystal Cove State Park Historic District Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcoming Guests in and out of Historic Cottages + Responsible for guest check-in and departure and all associated tasks using WebRez reservation management system. + Respond to guest requests and concerns to ensure satisfactory outcome and compliance with CCC/CCMC and State Park rules and regulations. + Offer guest assistance as needed whenever possible. + Stock, organize, and ensure the tidiness of lobby and front desk work area daily. Complete daily checklists and tasks as required. + Work to advance the organization's mission to advance equity and diversity by creating a welcoming, inclusive experience for all visitors. + Comply with all safety practices in accordance with organizational standards.
Desired Qualifications:
Seeking a creative problem-solver with strong communication and customer-service skills, able to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Must be enthusiastic, flexible, and ideally familiar with Crystal Cove Conservancy's mission. Passion for coastal conservation required.
Physical Requirements:
Due to the location of the Beach Cottages and the nature of The Conservancy's role as a State Park concessionaire and non-profit partner, this is a position that requires certain physical abilities. These requirements include, but are not limited to: + Must be able to walk distances up to 100 meters, lift 25 pounds, and stand for prolonged periods. + Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a printer or calculator. + Driving Skills - operating a golf cart as needed Crystal Cove Conservancy provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, gender identity, gender expression, or genetics.
