Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Lighthouse Hotel, a Trademark Hotel by Wyndham. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate. Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages effectively. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming environment. Experience Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hotel management systems is advantageous. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest relations. A background in hospitality management or related fields is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
