This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, managing front desk activities, and keeping communication flowing smoothly throughout the day. The person in this role will represent the organization effectively while supporting daily reception operations in a part-time capacity.

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests and employees at the front desk, ensuring each interaction is courteous, efficient, and attentive. Manage a multi-line phone system by answering incoming calls promptly, directing them to the appropriate contacts, and taking accurate messages when needed. Maintain an organized reception area that reflects a positive and well-maintained image of the office. Provide general administrative support related to front desk operations, including basic coordination of visitor flow and routine inquiries. Monitor incoming communications and respond appropriately to common questions or route requests to the correct department. Support part-time reception coverage needs while maintaining consistency in service and office presentation. Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing office support role. Demonstrated ability to handle a multi-line or switchboard phone system with accuracy and professionalism. Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous, service-oriented approach to interacting with callers and visitors. Ability to stay organized, manage interruptions effectively, and prioritize tasks in a busy front desk setting. Comfortable handling inbound calls and routing information efficiently. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work successfully in a part-time Contract role.
