Seasonal with the opportunity to become a year-round position based on business needs and performance. Join Our Team! Black Meadow Landing is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk & Retail Associate to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a hospitality environment, and enjoys a variety of responsibilities. As a Front Desk & Retail Associate, you'll split your time between welcoming guests at the resort's front desk and assisting customers in our retail store. You'll play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences while helping ensure our daily operations run smoothly. Essential Responsibilities Welcome guests with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude. Assist guests with reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and general resort information. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries. Process retail sales accurately using the point-of-sale system. Assist guests with merchandise purchases and product recommendations. Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and help maintain inventory. Receive deliveries and assist with restocking merchandise. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balance cash drawers. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and retail store. Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate. Promote resort amenities, events, and activities to guests. Work collaboratively with other resort departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous customer service experience is required. Retail, hospitality, hotel, campground, RV resort, or front desk experience is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, and basic office software. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, and occasionally climb a step stool. Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors. Schedule Part-time, approximately 15-25 hours per week.
