Responsibilities for Front Desk Agent

• Check guests in and out of their rooms
• Answer any questions guests have
• Make recommendations for local activities and restaurants
• Take reservations on the phone
• Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
• Respond to guests' complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Manage online reservations for third party websites
• Complete daily light housekeeping duties at the front desk and lobby area
• Able to communicate efficiently with other departments such as housekeeping and Maintenance Qualifications for Front Desk Agent
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Great interpersonal abilities
• Able to prioritize daily tasks and great organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Time management skills
• Detail oriented
• Computer experience- Word, Excel
