Audit shift hours are from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Front desk shifts may vary from AM or PM shifts. Weekend availability is required. Our desired applicant will have hotel audit experience as well as experience working in a fast paced hotel environment. Candidates must also be dependable, energetic, and have great customer service skills. Prior hotel experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right applicant. Please apply in person or on Indeed. Hourly pay will depend on experience. Customer service experience is required. Job duties will include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Greet and acknowledge guests or anyone that comes through the front door. 2. Answer the telephone in a professional manner, assist guest with any questions or directions to the property and directs calls appropriately. 3. Register guests and assign rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible. 4. Check guest in ensuring proper form of payment is received, special requests are noted and all information is accurate on reservation. 5. Assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations. 6. Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit card and cash handling policies and procedures. 7. Maintain and balance house bank and balance all shift transactions. 8. Transfers charges and deposits to master accounts. 9. Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift; this includes posting all no-show charges. 10. Process future and same day reservations. Aware of cancellation procedures and policy. 11. Understands room status and how to update room status. 12. Knowledgeable of room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates. 13. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell and promote rooms, special rate packages, special hotel programs, and upgrades when appropriate. 14. Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early check ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
