Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our guests. This energetic role requires a proactive approach to guest relations, ensuring each visitor experiences exceptional service from check-in to check-out. Your expertise in hospitality management and customer service will help create memorable stays, while your multilingual skills will enhance communication with diverse clientele. Duties Greet guests warmly and efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar hotel management software Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset Manage reservations through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and timely updates Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience Maintain accurate records of guest information, room assignments, and billing details while adhering to hotel policies and procedures Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs promptly and ensure safety protocols are followed Answer all incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing exceptional customer service Assist with night audit procedures when required, reconciling accounts and preparing reports for management Support emergency procedures by understanding hotel safety protocols and responding effectively during incidents or evacuations Foster positive guest relations by anticipating needs and delivering personalized service that exceeds expectations Experience Proven experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management roles, preferably within resort or luxury hotel environments Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle complex situations calmly and efficiently Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse guest base effectively Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and night audit processes is advantageous Excellent communication skills via phone and in person, demonstrating professionalism at all times Previous experience working with hospitality reservation systems and property management software is preferred Demonstrated ability to problem-solve customer issues quickly while maintaining a friendly demeanor Join us in creating welcoming environments where every guest feels valued!
