TASTING ROOM REPRESENTATIVE

New Clairvaux Vineyard is a dynamic and passionate winery seeking a team-oriented individual with an interest in wine education. This is a full-time hospitality position, and weekend availability is required .

Qualifications & Qualities:

Represents the company and brand professionally, graciously, and enthusiastically Helpful and accommodating with guests and team members Highly organized with strong attention to detail Possesses outstanding follow-through Proficient with POS transactions Able to prioritize time-sensitive issues and guests' needs Able to multitask with a wide variety of duties Excellent communication skills Wine industry experience and/or knowledge preferred Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities Include:

Educate guests about our wines and the history of our winery Sell wine and merchandise in the tasting room Provide excellent customer service in all guest and Wine Club member interactions Represent the winery with integrity and professionalism Ensure accurate point-of-sale transaction processing Carefully review new Wine Club contract agreements with members Assist with Wine Club and other shipments, ensuring proper addressing and delivery Assist the Tasting Room Manager with administrative tasks Assist with coordination including setup, guest service, and breakdown Fulfill phone and eCommerce orders Assist with special projects as needed
