Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests to kitchen staff. Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options. Process cash, credit card, debit card, and other approved payment transactions. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. Verify completed orders before serving or packaging them. Assist with dine-in, takeout, pickup, and delivery order coordination. Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and counter areas. Restock menus, napkins, utensils, condiments, packaging, and other supplies. Respond to routine guest concerns and refer complex issues to management. Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties. Support team members during busy service periods. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous restaurant, pizza, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is an asset but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math and payment-handling abilities. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Ability to stand for extended periods and manage multiple tasks. Preferred Skills Experience in a pizzeria or casual dining restaurant. Familiarity with POS systems and order-processing procedures. Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
