Hotel Front Desk Agent About the
Role:
We're looking for a friendly, dependable Front Desk Agent to join our team! As the first person guests see when they arrive, you'll play a big part in creating a great first impression and making sure every stay starts off on the right foot. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you. Every day is different, and you'll work closely with other departments to make sure our guests have an excellent experience from check-in to check-out. What You'll Do Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Check guests in and out using our hotel management system (OPERA or similar). Answer questions, provide recommendations, and help resolve guest concerns. Manage reservations and keep guest information accurate. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to make sure guest needs are taken care of. Answer incoming phone calls and provide information about the hotel and local area. Assist with basic accounting tasks and night audit duties when needed. Follow hotel safety and emergency procedures. Handle special requests and help create a positive guest experience. Keep the front desk running smoothly throughout your shift. What We're Looking For Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person. Great customer service and communication skills. Comfortable using computers; experience with OPERA or other hotel property management systems is a plus. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work well under pressure. Professional phone etiquette. Dependable, positive, and a team player. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Night audit or hotel accounting experience is a bonus, but not required.
