Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them through their shopping experience Operate the cash register (POS system) efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about store merchandise to enhance their understanding and satisfaction Upsell complementary products or services to maximize sales opportunities in a friendly, non-intrusive manner Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain store merchandising standards to ensure an attractive shopping environment Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy following proper phone etiquette Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks to keep the store well-stocked and organized Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in bilingual settings if applicable Proficiency with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling Knowledge of retail store product details and merchandising principles to assist customers effectively Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for sales totals, discounts, and change-making Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and patience in busy environments Familiarity with product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management practices is highly desirable Join us as a Guest Service Associate and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences.
