Job Description

•Four shifts a week from 2:30PM to 10PM available. Rotating weekend availability is a must.• We are looking for one more Front Desk Clerk to join our now dynamic team at Georgetown Mountain Inn. We are a small family-owned business operating out of this property for 17 years now. Our goal is to provide a safe and pleasant stay to all guests while restoring the property back to shape. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, checking guests in/out, processing payments, completing other administrative tasks, helping with laundry & pull/stock, and property upkeep. The ideal candidate will have strong sense of accountability, communication skills, consistency, detail-oriented, work well with other, and have the ability to work without supervision. Willingness to accept supervision and discipline when required is a must. Candidate must be comfortable interacting with all types of people without bias. They must be comfortable going into guest's rooms when requested to troubleshoot issues at hand. We have a zero-tolerance policy for substance use and bullying at the workplace. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry or interested in working at a local business.
Shift times:
2:30 PM to 10
PM Responsibilities:
Greet guests and answer any questions they may have. Handle customer complaints in a professional manner. Check guests in/out to the hotel. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations. Ensure all guests are provided with exceptional customer service. Process payments and balance accounts at the end of each shift. Inspect rooms before check-in Maintain spa and pool levels on daily basis Help with laundry and housekeeping tasks as needed Maintain cleanliness of the front desk area, lobby, patio, and pool area. Perform nightly audit and property closing procedures. Additional duties as requested by employer (see below) Due to the nature of a small business, employees are expected to be able to help with various tasks away from the front desk. These includes, but not excluded to maintenance, gardening, snow shoveling, watering plants, and maintaining bird feeders. Everyone will need to contribute to the success of the business and be accountable.
