Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing friendly service, efficient check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help foster positive guest relations and uphold the high standards of our hotel management operations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through excellent phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving. Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, including booking, modifications, and cancellations. Handle multi-line phone systems to respond to guest inquiries, provide information about hotel amenities, and assist with special requests. Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while verifying identification and payment details. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs promptly and uphold hotel emergency procedures. Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details while ensuring data confidentiality. Support night audit processes when required, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy. Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and client communication. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or property management systems (PMS). Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services standards, and hospitality best practices. Excellent phone communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette. Ability to problem-solve customer service issues swiftly while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous experience in night audit functions or resort settings is a plus.
