A Hotel Desk Clerk provides service to customers at the front desk of a hotel. Takes room reservations, checks in guests and handles payments; answers questions and arranges for room services requested by customers.

Please note that this is not a Front Desk Agent position. It is a lobby position, focusing on theguestarrival, stay, and departure. Salary for this position is (based on experience): $22.00/hour. Responsibilities:
Warmly greet guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and hospitable first impression. Efficientlyassistguests with luggage, providing a seamless and attentive service from arrival to departure. Proactively engage with guests in the lobby, guiding andassistingguests in navigating the hotel's amenities, services, and local attractions. Explain room features such as the use of room keys, hydration stations, in-room safes, and other services. Be responsive to all guest requests in a courteous and efficient manner,maintainingalertness and a helpful attitude. Handle luggage storage, retrieval, and ensuretimelyroom departures. Communicate effectively with various hotel departments to address guest needs or concerns. Maintain a calm and friendly demeanor at all times, exemplifying the hotel's commitment to outstanding guest service. Show initiative in finding ways to contribute to the hotel's operation and guest experience, especially during quieter periods. Attend staff meetings and training sessions asrequired. Drive town car vehicle and company shuttle to and from designated destinations in a timely manner when shuttle driver is unavailable. Apply knowledge of driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as inclement weather and heavy traffic. Greet guests and provide on boarding assistance. Ensure cleanliness of vehicle; including interior and exterior. Report any safety concern immediately to management. Create memorable experience during transportation service. Perform other tasks as requested by the front office leadership team.
Qualifications:
Previousexperience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or related field is a plus. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and motor vehicle background check. A genuine passion for hospitality and creating a delightful guest experience. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests warmly and effectively. Ability tomaintaincomposure and professionalism in a guest-facing environment. Flexibility and willingness to perform various tasks to support the hotel's needs, including luggage handling and guestassistance. Proactive inidentifyingtasks during less busy periods. Physical ability to handle luggage andassistguests as needed. Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds withoutassistance. Move, push, and pull objects weighing up to 200 pounds withoutassistance. Stand and walk for an extendedperiod of timeor for an entire work shift. Must be able toworka flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Must be 21 years or older. This position will be open and posted until filled, with a minimumpostingperiod of three days.
