Guest Service Representative Brand:
Residence Inn by Marriott Job Summary The Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner. This role supports Residence Inn's extended-stay experience by building guest relationships, handling check-in/check-out, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring a smooth stay for long-term and short-term guests. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services Greet guests with Marriott's Spirit to Serve and ensure a positive first impression Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently Verify guest information, process payments, and issue room keys Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally Build rapport with extended-stay guests and recognize repeat/elite members Operations Operate Marriott property management systems (e.g., FOSSE / Lightspeed ) Handle reservations, room assignments, upgrades, and cancellations Maintain accurate guest records and folios Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams Balance cash drawer and complete shift reports Brand & Standards Follow Marriott brand standards , safety, and security procedures Promote Marriott Bonvoy enrollment and benefits Uphold confidentiality and data protection policies Assist with breakfast setup, market sales, or lobby upkeep as needed (Residence Inn environment) QualificationsRequired High school diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and communication skills Basic computer and cash-handling skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Preferred Prior hotel or customer service experience Familiarity with Marriott systems (FOSSE) Bilingual skills a plus Experience working with extended-stay guests Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Perform repetitive motions including typing and phone use Work Environment Front desk and public areas Interaction with guests, team members, and management Extended-stay hotel setting with a community-focused atmosphere Why Work at Residence Inn by Marriott Competitive pay and growth opportunities Marriott employee travel discounts Supportive team culture Opportunity to build long-term guest relationships Must be flexible and available to work all 3 shifts based on business needs.
