Job Description
Job Summary Join the welcoming team at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Uncasville Mohegan Area, conveniently located near Mohegan Sun and a favorite for both leisure and casino-bound travelers. As a Guest Service Agent, you'll be the warm, friendly face our guests rely on—from the moment they walk through the doors to the moment they depart. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment to delivering the trusted Fairfield hospitality experience will help ensure every stay is effortless and memorable. Schedule Requirement We are currently looking to fill the following shifts:
Sunday & Monday:
7:00 AM - 3:00PM Friday & Saturday:
11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (as needed) In this key front-of-house role, you'll support daily front desk operations, assist guests with inquiries, and help uphold our property's high service standards. Your energy and attention to detail will create an inviting atmosphere that keeps guests returning whenever they visit the Mohegan area. Responsibilities Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, delivering the signature Fairfield level of service Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and reservations Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and prompt attention Operate hotel systems and multi-line phone lines efficiently to support smooth front desk flow Maintain accurate records by balancing accounts, processing payments, and preparing daily reports Promote hotel amenities—including complimentary breakfast, fitness center, and local attractions—to enhance guest stays Foster strong guest relations by resolving issues quickly and ensuring overall satisfaction Utilize multilingual communication skills when possible to support guests from diverse backgrounds Experience Previous hotel or resort experience in guest services or front desk operations is highly preferred Familiarity with hospitality management systems and multi-line phone operations is a plus Strong understanding of customer service principles and hospitality best practices Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a valuable asset Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills Join Our Team Become part of a supportive and energetic team dedicated to providing a reliable, friendly, and seamless guest experience.
