As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, providing guests with necessary information about their stay. Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, addressing any issues or concerns to ensure satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and reservations using hotel management software. Process payments and manage cash transactions securely. Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to enhance guest experiences. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests. Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality throughout all interactions. Skills Strong background in hospitality management with experience in hotel or resort settings preferred. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Proficient in phone etiquette, including experience with multi-line phone systems. Familiarity with front desk operations and night audit processes is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution in guest services.
