Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming, professional atmosphere and ensuring that all guest needs are met efficiently. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in guest information and billing. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively. Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay. Assist with reservations and provide information on room availability and rates. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information. Requirements Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully. Familiarity with hospitality software systems is an advantage. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest relations. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. A background in resort or hospitality environments is beneficial for understanding guest expectations.
